The front garden was always one of the lesser features of our house, and the last six years have done nothing to change that, so we decided it was time to make an upgrade. The tired lawn which didn't grow anyway was to go and be replaced with pathways and garden beds filled with natives. Perfect for these times of drought.Also part of the plan was to render the ugly cream brick wall and tidy and fill the gaps in the back garden. This is all now pretty much done... now the plants just need to grow!
